World News and Views :: Projects Unipetrol Builds Two Plants at Czech Site11:07 AM MST | February 4, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Unipetrol (Prague) says it plans to build two plants at its Litvínov, Czech Republic petrochemical complex that will improve utilization rates at the site’s ethylene plant. Unipetrol plans to build a 20,000 m.t.-26,000-m.t./year dicyclopentadiene plant and a 40,000-m.t./year nonhydrogenated C9 aromatic hydrocarbon production facility at Litvínov by 2010. The company says it will use proprietary technologies developed in cooperation with the Institute of Chemical Technology (Prague) and the Inorganic Chemistry Research Institute...
