Uhdenora Awarded Chlor-alkali Plant Contract in China

Uhdenora (Milan), a joint venture between Uhde (Dortmund, Germany) and De Nora (Milan), has been awarded a contract by Shandong Befar Group (Binzhou City, China)for a new chlor-alkali plant to be built at Binzhou City, Shandong Province, China. The new plant will be designed to produce 540 m.t./day of 100% caustic soda, based on the Uhde single element 6th generation technology, also referred to as “Zero Gap” technology, which reduces energy consumption.     Uhdenora will supply the basic engineering for the cell house, together with the...
