World News and Views :: Projects UOP Technology Selected for Propylene Project in China12:03 AM MDT | April 27, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says that Zhangjiagang Yangzi River Petrochemical Co. (Zhangjiagang, China) has selected UOP’s C3 Oleflex process technology to produce propylene at its facility at Zhangjiagang. The new unit, which is expected to start up in 2014, will produce 600,000 m.t./year of propylene. UOP will provide the engineering design, technology licensing, catalysts, adsorbents, equipment, staff training and technical service for the project.
