World News and Views :: Projects Toyoda to build production facility in Brazil8:32 AM MST | February 22, 2013 | Francinia Protti-Alvarez Toyoda Gosei (Aichi, Japan) is establishing a new company at Itapetininga, Brazil, to handle the production and sale of rubber and plastic components, Toyoda said today. The capital investment amounts to 90 million reais ($47 million), and Toyoda will have a 94.8% stake. The new company, Industria e Comerico de Componentes Quimicos e de Borracha, is expected to start production in November 2014.
