World News and Views :: Projects Total and Arkema Invest in French Chemical Cluster8:59 AM MDT | June 18, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Total; Société Béarnaise de Gestion Industrielle (Sobegi), a Total and GDF-Suez subsidiary; and Arkema today announced the launch of Lacq Chemical Cluster 2030 (LCC30) at Lacq in southwestern France. The cluster will give a new lease on life to the Lacq manufacturing site with its dwindling gas reserves and the expected shutdown of commercial operations of the gas field by Total in December 2013.
