World News and Views :: Projects Teijin and SK Chemicals form polyphenylene sulfide JV in Korea8:49 AM MST | March 1, 2013 Teijin says that its Teijin Chemicals subsidiary has agreed with SK Chemicals (Songnam, South Korea) on a collaboration including the establishment of a joint venture to develop, produce, and distribute polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resins and compounds. The jv, in which SK Chemicals will hold a 66% stake and Teijin Chemicals will hold the remaining 34%, will construct a PPS resin plant at SK Chemicals’ Ulsan, South Korea site.
