Taiwan’s Kuokuang Complex Likely to Be Revived in Malaysia

Najib: Announced Taiwanese investment. Malaysia’s prime minister Najib Razak said on May 13 that a Taiwanese petrochemical company would take part in a refinery and petrochemical project in Malaysia. Najib was speaking at the official launch of the previously announced $20-billion Rapid refinery and petchem project, led by Petronas. The Taiwanese firm is most likely Kuokuang Petrochemical, sources say. CPC Corp.
