Synthos announces three petchem projects at Krakow

Synthos (OÅ›wiÄ™cim, Poland) will invest 631.2 million zloty ($207.6 million) across three petrochemical projects at the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Krakow, Poland, the SEZ authority announced. The company will construct a styrene-butadiene rubber production facility incurring a capital expense of at least Zl319.8 million. Production will be primarily directed to tire manufacturers. A second investment is for construction of a 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (MCPA) production unit. MCPA is a phenoxy herbicide. Synthos also plans to create an R&D...
