Solvay invests in vanillin manufacturing complex in China

Solvay’s Aroma Performance unit is building a new facility to manufacture vanillin in China, the company announced today. The facility will be located at Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province and will boost the company’s production capacity by 40%. It will serve the fast-growing Asian market. Solvay Aroma Performance is the world's biggest producer of vanillin with facilities at Baton Rouge, LA and Saint-Fons, France.
