World News and Views :: Projects Solvay Increases Specialty Polymers Capacity in India7:32 AM MDT | September 18, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Solvay says it is in the process of increasing the production capacity of its high-performance polymers KetaSpire poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) and AvaSpire poly(aryl ether ketone) by 70%, at the company's manufacturing facility at Panoli, India. Nearly half of this capacity increase has already been implemented and has brought online. The second phase of the project will be completed by mid-2013 and will allow the plant to satisfy growth in demand, Solvay says. Panoli is Solvay's largest plant worldwide for these two polymers.
