World News and Views :: Projects SolVin Plans PVDC Expansion in France11:24 AM MDT | October 3, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff SolVin, a 75-25 joint venture between Solvay and BASF, has announced plans to build an additional polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) latex line at the company’s Tavaux, France site. It will have a capacity of 10,000 m.t./year and is due to start up in mid-2009. Meanwhile, SolVin says it will “continue to assess opportunities to create an entirely new production site in Asia or the NAFTA countries, pending further developments in the PVDC...
