Sirius agrees to more potash offtake deals as consultant Amec questions project's viability

Sirius Minerals’ (London) potash project in the United Kingdom has suffered a major setback in a week when the company originally expected to receive the official go-ahead from the regional planning authority, the North York Moors National Park Authority (NYMNPA). This news, coming shortly after earlier indications that the planning process would be longer than expected, caused the Sirius share prices to plunge by 25% last week.
