World News and Views :: Projects Sinopec and Sabic Extend Scope of Tianjin JV1:52 AM MDT | June 23, 2008 | Natasha Alperowicz Sinopec and Sabic say they have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to extend the scope of their previously announced petrochemical joint venture at Tianjin, China. The agreement, signed during a visit by the Chinese vice president Xi Jinping to Saudi Arabia, expands the heads of agreement signed by the two companies in January this year.
