World News and Views :: Projects Sinopec Sets Up Coal-to-Chemical Company2:45 PM MDT | September 28, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Sinopec has set up a coal-to-chemical company, Sinopec Great Wall Energy Chemical Co., to develop coal and natural gas-based products. The company says by 2015 it plans to build six coal-to-chemical plants in northern Inner Mongolia, northwestern Xinjiang and Ningxia regions, southerwstern Guizhou, and central Henan and Anhui provinces in China. "Sinopec will play a bigger role in changing China's rich coal resources to chemical raw materials, which is of great significance in adjusting China's energy structure," says Sinopec chairman Fu Chengyu...
