World News and Views :: Projects Sinochem Receives Final Government Approval for Quanzhou Project6:35 AM MDT | August 27, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Sinochem says it has received government approval for a previously announced refinery and petrochemical complex at Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China. The project, first announced in 2005, has been given final approval from the National Development and Reform Commission earlier this month. Sinochem Quanzhou, incorporated three years ago, is building a 240,000-bbl/day refinery and a fluid catalytic cracker unit with capacity for 2.4 million m.t./year.
