World News and Views :: Projects Shaw Group Selected For Saudi ABS Plant11:48 AM MDT | April 10, 2009 The Shaw Group says it has been awarded a contract by Petrokemya, a Sabic subsidiary, to provide front-end engineering design services for a grassroots project to build an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plant in Saudi Arabia. The plant will have capacity for 200,000 m.t./year of ABS, and it will be built at Al Jubail. Shaw also is providing procurement services for long-lead equipment for the plant.
