Shasun to Build Plant in U.S.

Shasun Chemicals & Drugs Ltd. (Chennai, India), a pharmaceutical company, says it plans to establish a process development facility at Piscataway, NJ that will provide direct active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) development services in the preclinical and clinical trial stages to customers in North America. The facility will also extend back-end support to contract research and manufacturing service partners in the same region, the company says.
