Secco Confirms Ethylene Expansion Schedule

Shanghai Secco Petrochemical Co., a joint venture between BP and Sinopec, will carry out a recently confirmed ethylene expansion at Caojing, China in the second quarter of 2009 (CW, Oct. 27, p. 16). Secco deputy general manager Mark Wilson confirmed at CW’s recently held China conference that the debottlenecking would take place during a maintenance turnaround.
