Sasol-Huntsman JV Plans Maleic Anhydride Expansion in Germany

Sasol-Huntsman (Moers, Germany), a 50-50 joint venture between Huntsman Corp. and Sasol, says it plans to expand maleic anhydride (MA) capacity at Moers by 45,000 m.t., to 105,000 m.t./year. The additional capacity is expected to be online in the first quarter of 2011. The project will be funded by the jv’s internal cash flow and non-recourse financing.
