Sasol Gulf Coast Project Decisions to be Made by Year End

Sasol says a feasibility study for its Lake Charles, LA gas-to-liquids (GTL) is underway and “progressing well” and a decision to proceed to the front-end engineering and design (FEED) phase will be made in second-half 2012. The company announced last year it plans to build an integrated GTL and chemicals complex at an estimated cost of $8 billion-$10 billion.
