Sartomer Opens Oligomers Plant in China

Total’s Sartomer says it has opened an oligomer and specialty acrylate monomer plant at Nansha, China to serve customers in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. Investment and capacity amounts were not disclosed. The products are used in applications including adhesives, circuit boards, inks, and paints and coatings. The plant is Sartomer’s first major investment in China, says Luigi Colantuoni, Sartomer president. The plant includes lab space and features integrated computer-based technology for process monitoring and control. It will employ about 100 people...
