Samsung consortium to build Kuwait's Clean Fuel Project

Samsung Engineering announced today that it has received an award notification from Kuwait National Petroleum Co. for a $3.8-billion Mina Abdullah I refinery clean fuels project (CFP) to be built by a consortium of engineering companies. Samsung’s share of the contract will be 43%, Petrofac’s 47%, and CB&I Netherland’s 10%.      Samsung Engineering will be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and precommissioning on a lump-sum turnkey basis.
