Sahara and Ma'aden complete test runs on chlor-alkali, EDC complex

Sahara Petrochemical Co. and Saudi Arabian Mining Co. announced today that they have completed test runs on their chlor-alkali and ethylene dichloride (EDC) complex at Al Jubail. The complex is being operated by their equally owned venture Sahara and Ma’aden Petrochemical Co. (Samapco). Performance test runs were carried out in the presence of technology providers, technical advisers, and the engineering contractors, who were responsible for building the plants.
