Sadara Awards Major Contracts to Técnicas Reunidas and Tecnimont

Sadara Chemical Co., a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical, has awarded a contract to Técnicas Reunidas (TR) for the Chem-III project, which will form part of the previoulsy announced $20 billion Sadara complex. The Sadara complex will be the world’s largest chemical complex ever built in a single phase, the company says. The project awarded to TR includes plants to produce ethylene oxide, propylene glycol, polyols, ethanolamines, ethylene amines, and butyl glycol ether. TR will also supply the auxiliary and control facilities...
