World News and Views :: Projects Sabic to Join Sinopec Tianjin Cracker1:26 PM MDT | July 30, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Sabic has agreed to partner with Sinopec in a $1-billion ethylene and derivatives project at Tianjin, China, local press reports say. The 1-million m.t./year ethylene plant forms part of a previously announced $3.1-billion investment by Sinopec at Tianjin that also includes a refinery.
