World News and Views :: Projects SK Innovation to Invest $1.43 Billion to Build P-Xylene Plant6:47 AM MDT | May 2, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh SK Innovation (Seoul) says its refining business, SK Energy, will invest about won1.62 trillion ($1.43 billion) to build a para-xylene plant at the company’s refining complex at Incheon, Korea. The company’s board of directors made the investment decision on April 30. The plant will have a production capacity of 1.3 million m.t./year of p-xylene, and it is expected to become operational in the second half of 2014.
