World News and Views :: Projects Russian firm builds acrylic acid and esters complex11:14 AM MST | December 11, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat (GNS; Salavat, Russia) has concluded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Tokyo), the Japanese trading house Sojitz (Tokyo) and Renaissance Construction (Istanbul) to build an acrylic acid and esters complex at Salavat. The complex will be built on the territory of GNS’s Monomer facility and will comprise units producing 80,000 m.t./year of acrylic acid and 80,000 m.t./year of butyl acrylate.
