World News and Views :: Projects Ruhr Oel Expands Ethylene Capacity in Germany10:08 AM MST | November 7, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Ruhr Oel, a 50-50 joint venture between BP and Petroleos de Venezuela, is increasing capacity of its Gelsenkirchen, Germany ethylene plants under a previously announced plan to replace several furnaces (CW, April 19, 2006, p. 7).
