World News and Views :: Projects Rohm and Haas JV Starts Up in China9:48 AM MDT | September 7, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Jinhong Rohm and Haas Chemical (Weihai City, China), the joint venture between Rohm and Haas and Weihai Jinhong Polymer Co., has started up production. The jv makes methacrylate butadiene styrene, acrylic impact modifiers, and acrylic processing aids for distribution in China and other emerging markets. Rohm and Haas says the jv, in which it owns a 51% stake, gives it a “significant footprint of plastic additive manufacturing in China.” Rohm and Haas and Weihai Jinhong formed the jv in March.
