World News and Views :: Projects Reliance Revises Plans for Jamnagar Ethylene Complex11:35 AM MDT | May 29, 2009 | NATASHA ALPEROWICZ Reliance Industries is preparing a revised proposal for an ethylene complex at Jamnagar, India, following a request from the company’s senior management, CW has learned. Original plans for a world-scale cracker at the site, announced two years ago, are on hold (CW, Oct. 24, 2007, p. 20). Reliance will phase in the project starting with a much smaller ethylene unit under the revised plan, which remains subject to approval by the Reliance board, sources say.
