World News and Views :: Projects Reliance Life Sciences to Expand Biopharma and Pharma Businesses12:01 PM MDT | September 7, 2007 | Deepti Ramesh Reliance Life Sciences (RLS; Mumbai), a Reliance Industries subsidiary, says it plans to expand its biopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals business. The company intends to establish a manufacturing facility in India to produce generic drugs that will focus on supplying international, regulated markets. RLS also is working to develop several biopharma products, a few of which will be launched in early 2008, the company says. “We are planning an active pharmaceutical ingredient and formulation facility for manufacturing generic pharmaceuticals,” says KV...
