R&H Opens Two Units Serving the Semiconductor Market

Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it has opened the Asia Technical Center (Hsinchu, Taiwan), focusing on chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) technology, and a $60-million immersion lithography plant at its Advanced Technology Center at Marlborough, MA. Both units serve the semiconductor industry. The Asia center features an application laboratory with 300 millimeter CMP polishing capability and provides engineering and technical support in the Asia/Pacific region.
