R&H Expands Acrylic Emulsions Capacity in India

Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it will double capacity for acrylic emulsions at its 35,000-m.t./year Taloja, India facility. Separately, R&H has opened its new $12-million acrylic emulsions facility at Chennai, India. The plant has capacity to make 30,000-40,000 m.t./year acrylic emulsions used in the manufacture of paints and coatings, adhesives, textiles, paper and leather. The Taloja and Chennai plants incorporate advanced environmental, management, and operating practices and manufacture products customized for the local markets, R&H says. "India...
