World News and Views :: Projects R&H Expands Acrylic Emulsion Capacity in India10:53 AM MDT | September 21, 2007 | Kate Phillips Rohm and Haas (R&H) says it will double capacity for acrylic emulsions at its 35,000-m.t./year Taloja, India facility, and that it has opened a new $12-million acrylic emulsions facility at Chennai, India. The Chennai plant has capacity to make 30,000-40,000 m.t./year of acrylic emulsions used to produce adhesives, leather, paper, paints and coatings, and textiles. R&H also says that it plans to build a process engineering and technical center in India, but it did not provide a timeframe. Gupta: India ‘critical component’ of growth strategy...
