Qapco to commission LDPE plant this month

Qatar Petrochemical Co. (Qapco; Doha) is planning to commission its 2.3-billion Qatari rial ($631.6 million) low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant at Mesaieed, Qatar, on 20 November 2012 with a formal inauguration ceremony. The 300,000-m.t./year facility will be officially opened by Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
