World News and Views :: Projects Praxair to Build Air Separation Units in India10:19 AM MDT | March 31, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Praxair India (Bangalore), a wholly owned subsidiary of Praxair, says it will build and operate two cryogenic air separation units, each with a capacity of 1,250 m.t./day at Bhilai, India. The units are scheduled to start up in 2012, and will include liquefaction equipment allowing them to meet growing demand for oxygen, nitrogen, and argon in the central Indian market, Praxair says. “The air separation unit at SAIL, Bhilai is of strategic importance for our expansion plans as it shall provide access to the industrial markets in [the states of] Madhya...
