Polish firms launch detailed study for $3.9-billion petrochemicals project

Refining company Grupa Lotos (Gdańsk, Poland) and chemicals, fertilizers, and plastics producer Grupa Azoty (Tarnów, Poland) have signed an agreement to form a special-purpose vehicle that will carry out a comprehensive feasibility study for the construction of a petrochemical complex at a location near to Lotos's and Azoty's manufacturing sites.
