PhosAgro awards urea plant contract to Chemoproject Nitrogen

PhosAgro(Moscow), a leading fertilizer producer, has signed a contract with Chemoproject Nitrogen for the design, engineering and procurement of equipment for a 500,000-m.t./year granular urea production unit at PhosAgro Cherepovets, in Vologda region, Russia, PhosAgro announced today. The agreement was signed by PhosAgro CEO Andrey Guryev and CEO of Chemoproject Nitrogen Tomas Plachy, in the presence of the Vologda region’s interim governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov.   Stamicarbon, a subsidiary of Maire Tecnimont, will provide its technology.
