Petronas selects LyondellBasell technology for polypropylene plant

Petronas has selected LyondellBasell Industries’ Spheripol process technology for two 300,000-m.t./year polypropylene (PP) plants to be built at Pengerang in Johor, southern Malaysia. The PP plants will form part of Petronas’s previously announced $20-billion Rapid refinery and petrochemicals integrated project at Pengerang.
