Petrofac consortium receives order for petchems complex in Kazakhstan

Petrofac (St Helier, Jersey) in a consortium with Linde and GS Engineering & Construction (Seoul), has received an order from KLPE Limited Liability Partnership, a joint venture between Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries (Astana) and LG Chem (Seoul), to provide services for a previously announced $4 billion integrated petrochemicals complex and infrastructure in the Tengiz and Karabatan regions of Kazakhstan.     The first phase of the contract, valued at $77 million, including $21 million Petrofac’s share, will involve the consortium...
