World News and Views :: Projects Petrobras to use Chiyoda's Acetica acetic acid process in gas-to-chemicals complex7:12 AM MDT | October 28, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Petrobras has licensed the Chiyoda Acetica acetic acid technology for a previously announced gas-to-chemicals complex at Linhares in southeast Brazil. The technology was licensed through Foster Wheeler (FW), which is acting as integrator for the complex. It will be used in a 200,000-m.t./year facility within the complex, which will also produce ammonia, urea, methanol and formic acid.
