World News and Views :: Projects Oleon, United Plantations Form Oleochemicals JV in Malaysia12:52 PM MDT | August 30, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Oleon (Ertvelde, Belgium) and palm plantation owner United Plantations (Perak, Malaysia) have announced the formation of an equally owned joint venture, UniOleon Sdn. Bhd., which will build an oleochemical food emulsifier plant at a cost of €26 million ($32.6 million). The facility will be constructed at Pulau Indah, Malaysia, next to Oleon’s existing plant.
