Nova to Boost PE Capacity in Canada

Nova Chemicals says it plans to boost polyethylene (PE) capacity at its Corunna and Mooretown, ONT facilities by 250 million lbs over the next two years. Under the plan, Nova will debottleneck high-density and linear low-density PE plants at Corunna; optimize its high-density PE unit at Mooretown to increase throughput rates and improve product quality; and expand its low-density PE unit at Mooretown.
