Maha Mulla Hussain: Dow-PIC Relations Unaffected by K-Dow Dispute

Kuwait’s Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) says that negotiations with Dow Chemical to settle the K-Dow dispute are still ongoing, and that the failure of the K-Dow venture has however, not affected PIC’s relations with Dow or their existing joint ventures. “Those [existing] joint ventures are governed by agreements and understanding, and Dow is still our strategic partner,” Maha Mulla Hussain, chairman and managing director of PIC tells CW at the Fourth Annual GPCA Forum in Dubai. “[Dow and PIC] have three joint ventures in...
