Ma'aden ammonia plant to use Uhde technology

ThyssenKrupp Uhde says it has been subcontracted by engineering group Daelim (Seoul) to provide its technology for a large ammonia plant being built by the Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Ma’aden) at Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia. The 3,300 m.t./day ammonia plant will form part of a large phosphate ore and fertilizer project. The plant will use ThyssenKrupp Uhde’s dual-pressure ammonia process and is expected onstream in 2016.
