World News and Views :: Projects Lotte Chemical to Build Large PET Plant in the U.K.2:03 AM MDT | October 7, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Lotte Chemical U.K., a subsidiary of the Honam (Seoul) group, will invest in excess of £60 million ($92.7 million) to build an additional polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle resins plant at its Wilton, U.K. manufacturing complex. The company has already started early ground work and it will begin clearing the site in the next couple of weeks. Completion is scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of 2013.
