World News and Views :: Projects Linde Builds Gases Plants in Hungary and Switzerland12:29 PM MST | November 10, 2008 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Linde says it will invest about €26 million ($34 million) to build an air separation unit at BorsodChem’s (Kazincbarcika, Hungary) site at Kazincbarcika. The investment follows the signing of a long-term, onsite supply contract by the companies. BorsodChem will receive 7,000 cu meters/hour of gaseous oxygen and nitrogen from the unit starting in November 2010. The plant will also produce liquefied oxygen, nitrogen, and argon for the merchant market. Separately, Linde says that its PanGas (Dagmersellen, Switzerland) subsidiary plans to build an air...
