Lenzing Invests €130 Million in New Tencel Fiber Plant in Austria

Lenzing said today that it is going ahead with previously announced plans to expand Tencel cellulose fiber capacity at Lenzing, Austria at a cost of €130 million ($163.7 million). The move follows completion of an environmental impact assessment process for the new plant. Nine months after the formal filing of the project, Lenzing was formally granted a legally binding building permit by the Office of the Provincial Government of Upper Austria.
