World News and Views :: Projects Lenzing Invests €130 Million in New Tencel Fiber Plant in Austria6:49 AM MDT | July 2, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Lenzing said today that it is going ahead with previously announced plans to expand Tencel cellulose fiber capacity at Lenzing, Austria at a cost of €130 million ($163.7 million). The move follows completion of an environmental impact assessment process for the new plant. Nine months after the formal filing of the project, Lenzing was formally granted a legally binding building permit by the Office of the Provincial Government of Upper Austria.
