World News and Views :: Projects Lanxess to build pigment plant in China7:20 AM MST | January 28, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh Lanxess says it will invest about 55 million euros ($74 million) to construct a new high-tech facility for iron oxide red pigments at the Ningbo chemical park, on the Chinese east coast. The plant will initially have a production capacity of 25,000 m.t./year, and will create 150 new jobs. Construction will begin in the second quarter of 2013, and production is expected to start in the first quarter of 2015.
