Lanxess to Build Rubber Chemicals Plant in Russia

Lanxess says that its Rhein Chemie subsidiary will build a rubber chemicals plant in Russia. The plant will be built at a new site at Lipezk and it will initially produce up to 1,500 m.t./year of rubber additives and about 500 m.t./year of release agents, supplying the automotive and tire industries in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
